This was my third visit in the past 12 months, and unfortunately it will be my last.My first visit was an average experience. The atmosphere was great, the service was okay, and it had a typical country pub feel. It was pleasant enough that I decided to book a family lunch there for my second visit.Unfortunately, that visit didn’t go well. Our booking had been mixed up, and our party of 12 was initially expected to fit around a six-seat table in the bar. There was no apology, and we were made to feel like we were inconveniencing the staff. We were eventually seated where we had originally booked, but it felt like they were doing us a favour rather than correcting their mistake. The staff, particularly the manager who had taken my booking, came across as rude and dismissive. I chose not to leave a review at the time, thinking everyone can have an off day.Tonight was the final straw. We visited for my parents’ birthday dinner and were seated at a table for two right beside the toilets. As soon as we sat down, the smell of urine was overwhelming, even with the toilet door closed. We immediately moved to another table and politely explained the issue to staff. Rather than receiving an apology, we were told, “No, you can sit there—it’s a table for six.” There was no acknowledgement of the smell, no apology, and no offer of another table. When I suggested we’d just sit in the bar instead, I was met with an eye roll and a grunt.The food was equally disappointing. The Monday meat pie and the crispy pork belly bites were both very ordinary and certainly not worth returning for.I’ve given this place multiple chances because I wanted to like it, but after three visits the consistently poor customer service has outweighed any positives. Sadly, I won’t be returning unless there’s a significant change in management.

Love to have a meal at the Mt Moriac Hotel. Excellent food and service. Would like to tell them the dining room chairs do have a lot of stains on them. They are comfortable chairs though.

Pub vibe, great nosh and live music! Went to try their beef Sunday roast. We were happy with the Sunday roast, very generous, beautiful gravy and veg. The only thing to comment, there isn’t any Yorkshire pudding. But, the beef was just too delish, the gravy was just yummy!We also had chocolate lava cake and sticky date which were also delish! Staffs were very helpful, seatings and tables have generous spaces in between, there are few rooms to spread around so no overcrowding.Parking ample. Def a pram and wheelchair friendly. There isn’t any public transportation that I can see so driving is a must.Price very reasonable. Will def come back!

Very clean and tidy .Meals were good sizing and very tasty.Plenty of options of food and where to eat.We will be back.
