Are you planning a camping trip to Mount Moriac Hotel and looking for information on the rules and regulations for free camping?
Look no further! As a venue that recently joined the wiki camp club, we want to ensure that all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience while staying with us.
First and foremost, we provide 48-hour complimentary roadside camping to all our pub/hotel patrons with a confirmed table reservation, and who have a self-contained camper (caravans & motorhomes) equipped with their own toilet and shower facilities.
Due to local council regulations that prohibit camping in vans or cars that do not have their own toilet and shower facilities, this means that tents, swags, vans, roof top arrangements, and car sleeping arrangements are not permitted on our property.
We have availability for 12 caravans only and ask that you book via our website and show us your confirmation on arrival as we are RESERVATIONS ONLY during the summer & busy holidays. A map of where it allows you to camp is also accessible on our website as well as bunting and signs to show where you can park. It is important to park in the marked areas only as our car park is for staff and customers as well.
We want to ensure that all of our guests respect our venue and property and take home any rubbish that is accumulated during your stay. Our bins are not for the public use.
It is important to note that our car park is outside of our liquor licensing line and any alcohol consumed outside our hours is against that.

It is important to note that pub owners/management and surf coast shire have been advised that non self-contained campers will be fined $200 if found camping on our property.
